Building Evolve from scratch

The story of how I moved from working in Munich to returning to Spain to help build Evolve from its earliest stage, organizing operations, CRM, sales and growth systems.

Challenge

The project started with an ambitious vision but little structure: a small team, sales processes to organize and an offer that still needed to become scalable.

Solution

We built an operating and commercial foundation: CRM, follow-up processes, reporting, call systems, automations and a new structure connecting training, companies and talent.

Result

Evolve moved from an early building and validation stage into a growth phase with offices, a sales team, clearer positioning and systems ready to scale in 2025.

Building Evolve from scratch

This project captures an important professional chapter: building Evolve from its first steps, from an ambitious idea into a commercial and operating structure ready to scale.

How I arrived at Evolve

The story starts in 2022, when I was providing business management services to companies in the United States using Notion. My focus was helping teams organize better: control systems, internal processes, remote work, documentation and operations.

That knowledge of Notion and team organization opened the door. A contact sent me a story from Evolve's founder saying he needed a profile similar to mine. That started the conversation.

At the time I was living in Munich, Germany, working for adidas. Even so, I decided to fly to Spain to understand the project, how it was structured and whether it made sense to get involved.

The initial bet

When I arrived, the project was still very young. Josef Brocki, Evolve's founder, had a clear vision and strong entrepreneurial energy. He was 22 and I was 24. We were drawn to the possibility of building something with bigger ambition together.

The combination was interesting: his vision and ambition, together with my experience in teams, systems and processes, could become a solid base. But at that point there were no guarantees. It was a bet.

I returned to Germany to think it through and then made an important decision: leave what I had built there and return to Spain to launch the project.

The first steps

At the beginning we were three or four people figuring things out. There was a lot to do, few resources and a structure still to be built. The finance area was handled by someone close to Josef Brocki's environment, and the sales team had experience, although processes and tools needed to be updated.

The first stage was hands-on: creating, organizing, testing, hiring, making mistakes and adjusting again. In 2023 we opened the first offices, a moment I remember with a lot of excitement. It took many hours of building from zero and support from people who made that stage possible.

The first commercial approach

During 2023 we ended the year focused on selling a product that had value but was not reaching the scalability we were looking for. That stage mattered because it helped us learn from the market, the customer and the limits of the model.

Sometimes a project does not scale because of lack of effort, but because the offer is not yet exactly aligned with what the market needs. That reading became key for the next stage.

The 2024 pivot

In mid-2024 we made an important decision: pivot completely toward a new technology, a new training program and a much clearer approach.

The idea was to teach what the market was demanding at that moment, together with professionals with real experience in relevant companies. The goal was not only to train people, but to connect education, companies and talent.

That change marked a before and after. In November 2024 we moved to larger offices, hired a sales team and started growing with more structure.

Scaling with systems

During 2025 the project started to scale. My role was to build the system that could sustain that growth: CRM, operations, reporting, sales follow-up, automations and AI tools.

The goal was for the team to sell better, follow up with more precision and measure performance without depending on scattered manual processes.

We worked with tools like Vixiees, CRM systems, calls, traceability and processes designed to improve commercial performance.

What this project meant

Building Evolve from scratch was an experience of risk, learning and growth. It was a very important personal and professional decision: leaving a stage in Germany to return to Spain and bet on a project that still had to prove itself.

Over time, that bet became a stage defined by real building: offices, team, product, sales, operations and systems.

For me, Evolve represents one of those experiences where strategy does not stay in a presentation. It becomes processes, decisions, difficult conversations, tools, team and daily execution.
