Notion Pop-up in London

In October, a Notion Pop-Up took place in London and, since I happened to be there that weekend, here is my experience.

What is a Notion Pop-Up?

Notion Pop-Up London

For anyone who does not know, a pop-up is literally the small window that appears on every website warning us about cookies, inviting us to subscribe to a newsletter, etc. Translated into offline life, this concept is when a company appears in your everyday life to generate greater engagement.

In this case, Notion decided to organize a food truck where they gave away coffee and sweets to all visitors. They also shared a leaflet where you could learn more about the company and its proposal.

What activities took place?

Basically, the main attraction for the general public was FREE COFFEE ☕.

But beyond that, for the Notion community it meant a place to share experiences using the platform.

Coffee and Notion community

Once you picked up your coffee and sweet, there was a space where you could talk with Notion UK employees and other users. It was interesting to discover use cases such as:

  • Marketing agencies.
  • Young people at university using Notion to manage everything.
  • Project management in multi-location teams.

Experiencing a Pop-Up from the inside

For the Spanish-speaking Notion community, it is very difficult to experience this kind of event, since the ones that have taken place have always been in English-speaking locations such as San Francisco or, in this case, London. That is why I am sharing some videos I recorded there.

Inside the Pop-up

I have to say that the organization was perfect and the treatment from the entire Notion team was more than excellent. Sometimes it is nice for freelancers like me, who work based on the tool, to see that behind this software there are very pleasant people.

Conclusions:

Although this event was not extremely protocol-based, or categorized as a training event, the short time I was there helped me see how other people use the tool. I was able to share with other users the digital products I develop; here you can see the latest ones:

All Products

  • Sports and Nutrition Advisory Management
  • Subscription Management with Automatic Renewal
  • Recruitment and Selection Process

Ultimately, this Pop-Up helped me acquire new ideas and concepts about the use of Notion. I was also able to validate my products by listening to feedback from other people and users. Sometimes there are details you do not notice, and it is in these types of events where you receive the right and constructive feedback.

And that is my experience. If you liked this post, it helps me a lot if you share it on your social networks or like my posts on Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok… and all my networks.

⭐ Thank you for reading this post and see you in the next one ✨
